Such great positive connection he provided, we will always stay only at his place when traveling to Kandy.

It was more than we imagined - it is a newly built/renovated guesthouse on a beautiful property, within a beautiful garden. The family welcomed us in person, invited us for a juice on their terrace and then showed us our beautiful, big room with a super comfortable bathroom incl. a big shower and towels. We felt extremely comfortable after arriving in Kandy quite tired after a long train ride. After we had time to freshen up a bit, they gave us some recommendations for restaurants (unfortunately we only stayed one night) and how to get there best. On the next day they provided breakfast in their private living room - we enjoyed it a lot to see their house and learn more about our hosts. Thank you so much!

Conveniently situated in the centre of Kandy, Chandi Mahal HomeStay is a recently renovated homestay, which provides free WiFi, a terrace and free private parking for guests who drive. The property features mountain and garden views, and is 4.1 km from Bogambara Stadium. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and organising tours for guests. Amazing location and so hospitable. Really lovely host owner , our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. We will recommend to everyone we know, thank you for having us. Tip: try the evergreen omelette 😉

At the homestay, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Probably the biggest & most comfortable bed in Sri Lanka. The room is generously big, very clean and electricity, hot water, fan - just everything worked completely fine. The hosts are both very helping and friendly. We received a very nice welcome tea and totally enjoyed our stay!

The property has mountain and garden views, and is 1.1 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and organising tours for guests. Jaga and his lovely family are great hosts and very welcoming. You will feel right at home! The house is a bit of a climb from the town, but you get rewarded with a great view and you can even see the Buddha statue from the terrace. They serve great breakfast and dinner in case you are to lazy to go into town, and are ready for recommendations of what to do in the area. I would definitely stay here again!! Big thanks to the family for making my stay in Kandy so pleasant :)

Magical spot with extraordinarily friendly and attentive staff. The vibe is mi casa es su casa, and it is just that. Not many hotels where you are encouraged to wander in the kitchen to watch dinner being prepared. And yes, the food is excellent. So was the room, and the view of the Kandy valley from the infinity pool is not to be missed.

The homestay features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Our stay at De Paris a Kandy was wonderful. The hotel is like a bed & breakfast situated in a beautiful, modern and spacious home. The hosts, Michele and Alexandra, were so kind and welcoming to our family. The breakfasts were a real treat and prepared very fresh and the rooms and bathrooms were well equipped, clean and perfect for our family. The A/C worked well and there was a nice pool we used, as well as several outdoor and common areas. The location is close to the botanical gardens and about a 10-15 minute tuk-tuk ride from the center of Kandy (still close enough to order take-out or delivery!).
