Longji Terrace La vie Inn is located in Longsheng in the Guangxi region, 8 km from Ping'an Rice Terrace and around 40 minutes' walk from Jinkeng Rice Terrace. Great rooms great views. But the best was the staff I had to leave in a bit of an emergency and they made any and every effort to get me home in time with very reasonably place transport. that was very exceptional and I've never seen that anywhere else in China. Thanks again

Spacious rooms in the middle of a historic village. The personnel was very kind and made sure that I had the best possible time. I also highly recommend opting for the amazing breakfast the guest house serves.

Yangshuo Xingping Qiushui Inn features accommodation set in Yangshuo, 16 km from Yangshuo West Street and 18 km from Yangshuo South Bus Station. Free WiFi is provided. Beautiful cozy place in the Main Street of Xinping. Very comfortable bed and amazing breakfast! The host was amazing and super helpful. Breakfast and coffee were the best!!

This hotel is located at Xingping Ancient Town, staffs are friendly and helpful, room is clean and nice, toilet bowl seat is heated, hotel lobby is well decorated and served with hot tea, sweet potatoes and tangerine through out the day. At the back entrance is the ancient town street, whereas the front entrance is facing the river and there is a car park there. Breakfast is delicious and you can ask for refill. At the top floor, there is a washer cum dryer, you can use it for free. 10 to 15 mins walk to 20RMB scenic area. Overall, we like this hotel and highly recommended this hotel.

Baike Boutique Hotel is located in Longji Rice Terraces and offers a restaurant. Most of its rooms offer priavte balcony with stunning terrace views. Amazing is not enough for the service and hospitality. The room well decorated and the view was beautiful. The lady in front desk was very friendly and helpful.

Just 5 km from Yangshuo, The Giggling Tree is an unique guest house which is located in the tiny village of Little Mountain Gate. The Giggling hotel has great location at the Yulong river. we rented electric scooters to ride along this river. you can also ride to Yangshuo downtown. Kids like the outside swimming pools a lot. they swim twice a day. the large one is 1,40m deep. food is excellent and affordable (chinese and western). kids like the french fries with self made chicken nuggets a lot, we ate other chinese food, all very delicious (salads, eggplant, lemon chicken etc). Employees are very friendly and help with everything. Large rooms have good airconditiing, large comfortable beds (with mosquito nets if needed) and bathrooms are large and very comfortable and stylish. we also took taxi to Guilin (sevenstars park and downtown) and ofcourse we also went to ride boat on the Li river and to dazhai longji rice terraces. Swimming pool was a big suprise and big PLUS.

Offering a restaurant and free bikes, Zen Box House is located in Jiuxian Village, 9 km from Yangshuo city centre. Loved the laid back vibe of the village and the hotel. I was after a retreat from the city and that’s exactly what I got, didn’t want to leave! 老张 is very hospitable - always checking if you’re hungry and then will whip something up in the kitchen. Another guest that arrived said they wanted to hike some of the nearby hills so 老张 was like, ‘let’s go!’ and took us - the entrance is through someone else’s kitchen/back garden so we’d never have got access ourselves. He also mentioned he could take us to places to swim, climb etc. Really love the village atmosphere, everyone knows each other and knows the secret routes/best food spots. Reminded me of my rural village community in the UK. I was able to borrow 老张‘s road bike and cycled to the river to catch one of the rafts, it’s about a ~30min leisurely cycle to get there. There are cycle/foot paths along the river too, so another nice way to experience the scenery. The hotel itself is very quaint. I had one of the Japanese style single rooms and was very happy there, it looks exactly like the picture. They will pre-heat the bed for you in the colder months, nice touch! Water, tissues, towel etc all provided. The toilets and showers are just downstairs, a 10 second walk, and are very pleasant. The toilets are the Japanese ones with heated seats etc. The other helper is also lovely, and she packed my rucksack with fresh pomelo when I set off for my cycle excursion. They grow pomelo etc. beside the house, and also have chickens so eggs fresh too. Loved the rooftop, very zen and great view over the hills. They also have some friendly cats. Will 100% return.

Long Ji One Art Hotel offers peaceful retreat in a bamboo stilted building in Longsheng. Free WiFi access is available. Some units offer stunning views of Longsheng Rice Terrace. The Staff is very friendly, they work as a family and the food they serve is very traditional Chinese food which we liked a lot. The bath tub on the terrace was a blast, kids and us enjoyed a lot relaxing in a warm water tub after a long trip.
