I like the mountain view of the room so much! It have a big balcony and a big window, showing the beautiful mountains! So the room is very bright! And the room is large as well! It should be the best room in my trip! Also, the cat in the hotel is cute, and my kids like playing with her~

This has to be one of my most pleasurable stays I've had in Taiwan. The host is incredibly kind and caring. The facilities are really nice, the bed really comfortable, the breakfast and tea is delicious and the views in the area are amazing. Also the cat is adorable. Can absolutly recommend staying here and would gladly do so again myself. It's best if you know a bit of chinese, but I think you can make due anyway with google translate.

The views from our room and the patio were outstanding! The food was good too. We had hot pot there one night in addition to breakfast. Everything was delicious!

Zhongshan Hostel was such a great place to stay. The owner is really lovely and very helpful giving directions how to get to Alishan for the morning sunrise. The rooms were great, very simple and clean. There is a hot water machine and tea near the front door which was nice in the morning when it was cold. I wish I had stayed longer and that I had more time to spend in the town there are lots of lovely shops and a few places to eat. The tea shop across from the hostel is the best, the woman who works there is so kind, taught us so much and we were able to buy some beautiful pottery she hand made and some tea from the region from her. Definitly a good place to stop if you stay here.

Breakfast was simple but healthy and delicious. The minsu provided a big spread of fresh local vegetables salad, stirred fried vegetables, boiled eggs, variety of breads with olive oil, and fried tofu with local wasabi paste, hot coffee and hot chocolate. The view from the room and back yard was beautiful - mountains with clouds. The minsu staff were warm and friendly, the lady boss helped us to book a car to Alishan and gave good advice to go one way and take the public bus back, as well as recommendations for good railway bento and where to walk in the area. The location is fantastic, just at the end of Fenqihu Old Street.

Woon 남아프리카 공화국

Ms Huang kindly picked us up from Fenchihu train station and also gave us good advice about where to hike in the surroundings. We sampled the delicious Oolong tea from their estate and bought some too. The next day, she treated us to their hand brewed Alishan coffee and kindly dropped us off at the bus station, way beyond our expectations. The room was comfortable with a shared full kitchen and dining area (that we didn't use).

Sometimes we can play with a very gentle and cute little dog in the hotel.the bed and pillow and quilt are clean.
