The breakfast was great. They serve breakfast in a quaint cellar space (part of the old brewery). The lady who served us was very welcoming and kind despite not being able to speak English. There is a restaurant with a patio that opens for lunch until late in the evening. They serve excellent food (with an English menu and vegetarian options), beer from their brewery in addition to other drinks and the locals come here as well. Everything was good quality and very affordable! The rooms are simple, the A/C worked well, there is a fridge in the room and everything was spotlessly clean. There is a large grocery store and shopping area nearby where you can get gas(petrol) and anything else you need. I preferred my stay here compared to some 'fancier' places in Vienna and Bratislava!

Superb location, our room was looking at the basilica. The room had a nice balcony and since we were on a bike tour we could keep our bicycles inside the building.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Penzion Rosenthal. Claudia and her staff were great. The food was very good and the staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. I hope to be able to return there some day!
