Just 5 km from central Strömstad, Daftö Resort offers a summertime theme park with an outdoor pool and children's activity house. Strömstad Golf Club is 8 km away. We really enjoyed our stay. We were not sure what to expect, but the resort surprised us to our delight in every respect. The staff was extremely helpful. As Americans spending our first night in Sweden we were having trouble contacting relatives in Norway. The staff was able to provide the needed help. This looks like a great place for families.

Situated on a small island in the Dalsland Canal, this family-owned property is 24 km from Årjäng. It offers free Wi-Fi, a communal, fully equipped kitchen and BBQ facilities. I liked the location of the facility. Kitchen and dining room well equipped. A very nice lady at the reception, informed us about the facility and showed us around. We slept in peace and quiet.

Surrounded by the scenic Bohuslän Archipelago, these self-catering cottages feature a flat-screen TV, furnished patio and free WiFi. this is a camping resort. so, they are busy during vacation times i guess. when we went not so busy. we were only there one night as we were passing by. It reminded me of wolly world from chase vacation movies. the people there are very friendly.
