This beachfront holiday park features a children’s play area, a hot tub, a games room, a convenience store and an internet kiosk. Greta room and facilities. Individual cabins were great. I would imagine this is a very busy location during the height of summer.

Hot Water Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park is located 700 metres from Hot Water Beach, a popular surfing destination on the stunning Coromandel Peninsula. The facilities were really nice here! We stayed in the Standard Cabin and it was really nice, very cute and clean. The mini fridge in the room was great. We also loved the heated mattress toppers for the colder night. The walk to the beach was very scenic and the proximity to the beach was very nice. Also, it was very convenient to have the restaurant on the property, and the food was very good!

The location up on Coromandel Peninsula is simply beautiful. We walked across the road to the rocky beach for sunset each evening, where you could hear a pin drop, very peaceful! This is a lodge that caters to campers as well as folks renting kitchenette rooms, like us. People come here for the fishing, and I heard it was very good. If we had stayed another day, it would have been fun to go out on a charter boat for a day of fishing. We went on excursions each day, one was to hike the Coromandel Coastal Walkway, just fantastic. There is no shortage of fun things to see and do here. You do have to bring groceries with you, as there is no restaurant nearby.

You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way). The Hahei Beach Resort is directly on the beach. It’s easy to go swimming or watch the sunrise or sunset.

Tasman Holiday Parks – Beachaven is a friendly holiday park set on four acres right by Waihi Beach. Explore the 9km long stretch of white sands, stunning views, great surf and fishing. We loved our stay even though it was a quick one. Great accommodation and facilities.
