In the old village part of Hollókő, an ethnographic village listed by UNESCO, Hollóköves Vendégházak offers units with traditional elements. Breakfast is served and dinner can be arranged. I really liked the atmosphere of the old town and of the accomodation. It was an amzing feeling to wake up in that little house which was decorared with old hungarian furniture. The accomodation was really tidy. People were very friendly in the area, the castle was close and there is a possibility to hike in the area. Im sure we will return to this place. :)

Mátra Kemping Apartmanok is set in the green surroundings at the edge of Mátra Protected Area, and features a restaurant and a snack bar, as well as a children’s playground and free WiFi in all areas.... Location is fantastic. The staff is exceptionally nice. Breakfest was varied and satisfying.

Next to Bükk National Park, Öko-Park Panzió, Kemping és Rendezvényközpont is located in Szarvaskő. Featuring free Wi-Fi and a restaurant, a sauna and an adventure park. Location is great, just right next to the hiking path, the area is very green, we didn't hear much of the street noise (as others said that it can be noisy at night/early morning). In the garden there are a few wooden toys which was great since we were there with children.
