Nýlega uppgert sumarhús staðsett í Reykjahlíð, Myvo The Studio apartment at Geiteyjarströnd 4 er með garð. Such a lovely cosy apartment with windows all round and overlooking Lake Myvatn. It was the perfect place to relax and hope to see the Northern Lights from the big balcony outside. The place was thoughtfully designed as open plan with nice touches such as candles and rugs. The underfloor heating was very efficient and plenty of kitchenware plus oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine etc. We had looked at slightly cheaper options nearby but I think it was worth paying a little extra for this one. Would highly recommend!

Slow Travel Mývatn - Óli's Homestay-Private house v er staðsett á Mývatni, í innan við 50 km fjarlægð frá Goðafossi og býður upp á fjallaútsýni. Such a cute little home. The owners have worked so hard to share the history of their house and the region. Really well equipped, super comfortable beds, lovely photographs and local ephemera. Extremely warm and cozy. Very eco-friendly and sustainable - top marks for this. We’d definitely return.

Myvo býður upp á útsýni yfir stöðuvatnið. The old farm Geiteyjarströnd 4 býður upp á gistirými með garði, í um 48 km fjarlægð frá Goðafossi. The house was very cosy and felt like at home! It has a beautiful view on the lake, and is ideally placed at walking distance from the volcano and the lava fields.
