Easy to get to and find (the blue walls do help - You see it in approach :). Everything brand new and pristine. As if the Owner refurbished it for themselves. Nice design. Warm and cosy. Everything we weary travellers needed! And, a bonus there: a shelf filled with maps, guide Books and ideas what to do and where to go! Bed comfy, bedlinen and towels as in best Hotels. Shower felt luxurious, plenty of hot water. Easy to heat up the lounge area with a little electric fire, important on wet days! Top tip: BlackLion neighbouring pub has delicious food and great atmosphere, good for dinner. Go and find out, worth it.

Pen-Rhos glamping de lujo El "Cuckoo's Nest" ofrece alojamiento en Llandrindod Wells, a 19 km del castillo de Cefnllys y a 37 km del castillo de Builth. We stayed at Pen-Rhos in “Cuckoo’s Nest for four nights in mid January. The scenery surrounding the ‘cabin’ was breathtaking and there was enough space between each cabin for privacy. The space was small, but perfect for two and had every appliance we needed for meals and hot drinks. The bathroom was clean and the shower heated quicker than ours at home. Llandrindod Wells had a few pubs and grocery stores that were close and convenient. Surrounding cities like Newtown, Rhayader, and Builth Wells were great for pub dinners.

Every millimeter of this house was a dream come true, seriously! Looks like something out of your country dreams, clean, comfortable, Windows you can sit and read in, so utterly beautiful, affordable, right in the middle of the town, small grocery store open late close by and lovely local vegetable shop too, stunning views, great modern kitchen with everything you need, lots of extra blankets, brochures about the area, books, cookbooks, fake fireplace, garden, open and comfy rooms, way more than enough for two people, welcome breakfast basket with bread, tea, coffee, marmelade... I could go on forever. If I'd like to come back? Just ju try to stop me!!

Very private and quiet with all facilities. Staff were very helpful with doing my laundry for a very reasonable price. Thank you.

The view is amazing!! And the staffs are very nice! It's a must book if you have a car! The hot tub has a really nice view as well!

The location was perfect for accessing the local countryside. The property was comfortable, cosy and of a very high standard. Beautifully decorated and excellent amenities. Fully functional and well equipped kitchen.
