Location was fantastic, and the villa was spotless. The kitchen was fully equipped for preparing breakfast and an occasional dinner.

Beautiful villa/house- it was extremely charming.Made you feel what it would be like to live here for real. The decor was very authentic and cozy. Comfy beds and linens/pillows. Very spacious, had everything we needed. Kitchen well equipped to cook. They texted us the day before to let us know that the 2 days we were there was a National Holiday (Constitution Day) and both supermarkets and restaurants would be closed and that we should shop before reaching Balestrand. We prepared and made simple meals at the Villa. Great /prompt communication on property’s side. Would highly recommend taking eclectic bikes around town and the fjords. We rented them for 3 hrs and the views were just breathtaking. super special.

Balestrand is a hidden gem, a pleasant little town among the beautiful mountains by a beautiful fjord. Accomodation was perfect, one of the best in my life. Clean, private, well equipped and the host - Inge is very helpful.
