Everything! Wonderful place in such a beautiful setting with awesome hosts - what more can you ask for? The accomodation is beautiful and pristine - you can feel the love and care and warmth that has gone into its making and upkeep, and it is in the most wonderful setting. There are incredible walks from the cottage and the hosts local knowledge helped us see the best of the very best! It is a bird lover's haven - as a taster we saw baby tawny owl, dipper, black cap, yellow hammer, meadow pippit, cuckoo, peregrine, buzzard, red kite ... We did two walks recommended by James and Lowri with spectacular scenery, fabulous flora and then back to the comfort of the cottage with its wonderful views, lovely garden, resident house martins and George the cat. This place is absolutely heavenly and a huge thank you to Lowri and James for making it even more special with their welcome and advice.

The cottage was quiet and cosy. Beautiful location. Had everything we needed, from teabags and milk to comfy beds.

Remote and quiet place with all the amenities you need for a getaway. We could even use the bicycles for a ride around the area.

Dinky little shepherd's hut, very pleasing in its simplicity, like a real little home from home despite its small dimensions. Bed very comfortable. Stable door means you can close the bottom half and leave the top open a crack for ventilation. Stunning view from back window especially, looking over a wildflower meadow and up to the brow of the hill (or mountain) behind. Well positioned seating in front to look around and enjoy the view of apple trees heavy with ripe fruit. The welcome pack of fresh eggs, butter and bread was extremely useful and very much appreciated. The owners were charming, kind and helpful. Their home is a good distance away so there is privacy.

The location was peaceful. The cottage was warm, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. We loved seeing the beautiful young horses in the field opposite our window! Mrs Kitty Bodily was a pleasant and efficient 'phone contact before the letting commenced. The cottage is within easy reach of excellent restaurants!
