This was such a beautiful, deceptively spacious cottage, equipped very well and beautifully furnished (lovely artwork and choice of books too). We loved having the use of an Aga in the kitchen, in addition to a wood-burning stove in the living room. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was extremely enjoyable; fresh homemade scones, jam and clotted cream, logs/kindling for the fire to last entire stay, eggs from the chickens out the back and beautiful flowers to name a few.. We were also offered a later check out due to the fact that there was no one checked in for the following day. It’s was a lovely few days and would definitely love to stay again!

Really nice farm location, great little cottage feel and good sized rooms. Friendly hosts and well presented. Kitchen is great to prepare meals with a separate dining room with hatch between them. The view out across the field with sheep grazing is very nice to wake up to in the morning.

I had requested chocolates and flowers in the room prior to our arrival, and the thoughtful gesture made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The lodge was a great place to relax and unwind, and the surrounding countryside was breathtaking. Overall, I would highly recommend the Luxury Lodge @ Ewen Barn for couples looking for a cozy and romantic getaway in the Cotswolds. The lodge was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed for a memorable anniversary celebration.
