The fact that we could take the three dogs made the trip possible. The accommodation though basic was comfortable and close to the town centre. The town centre was quite surprising, I didn't realise Alloa would have so much choice, The oldest pub was a great experience as was the Royal Oak, the people being very welcoming. A visit to both the Dunmar Hotel and the Polkski Sklep delicatessen opposite the oldest pub is very good, and we will certainly be returning. Stirling was only a short distance away and surprisingly. The trip back (Over 310 miles) was nicely broken at Dunbar

Karry, the owner was really nice and very helpful. She showed us round the property when we arrived and explained everything in details. There is a restaurant at about 10mn to 15 mn walking distance from the property, if you don’t want to cook, The woodsman, which is really nice and offers a great choice of dishes, great quality and value for money and the staff and service were excellent.
