We absolutely loved our stay here! The people we kind and helpful, the accomodation included everything we needed, and so much thought was put into the little things: flowers in the room, universal adaptors for power, towels folded into cool shapes, coffee and tea provided with a kettle, two bottles of water to brush our teeth, etc. The breakfast was also fantastic and included a variety of local foods that changed every day. The breakfast include some protein (usually eggs), some local breads, some vegetables, some juice, some local fruits and coffee or tea. We felt so at home here and We were also in walking distance of local restaurants, souvenir stores and the beach. Couldn’t be happier with our decision to stay here!

Situated in Nungwi, within 500 metres of Supermarket and less than 1 km of East Africa Diving, MITI Beach Bungalows features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well... Everything was just super: breakfast outside, staff, Michael the manager, swimming pool, the whole enviroment. It was about 200m from the beach. We used to go through a narrow street with local Masai-owned souvenir shops. The AC did not work one night but was fixed very quickly. The fridge did not work but that was not a problem.

The room was lovely and clean. The location was excellent, only a short walk away from everything you could need in stone town. It was even easy to walk a few minutes from the ferry port with our big suitcases. They were so helpful and let us keep our bags after checkout so we could grab lunch before heading off. Amazing place! We were supposed to stay 3 days but we extended for 3 more days. I totally recommend. The place is clean, well located, the kitchen has everything needed and Aurica and Roger (the managers) were very welcoming and friendly!

Wonderful host Carol. Right on the beach. Shared shower and toilet etc but the host makes up for everything if this might put you off. Try this place please. This is for back packers I guess but everyone should experience a place like this. You don't often get the chance to stay in a lovingly decorated and maintained property with a host whose authenticity and honesty shines through everything. And we only stayed ONE NIGHT!! I wish we could have stayed longer but we had other plans. As we waited for the taxi to arrive to leave, she made tea for us and gave us a home made pineapple ice lolly! What more could you want!!??
