Surrounded by the Mala Fatra National Park and set in the village of Stefanová, Penzion Stárek offers accommodation with a restaurant, a bar, a garden with barbeque facilities, a children's playground... I liked everything - due to the April weather at the time we were the only guests at the penzion. The owner opened her restaurant even if we were the only ones there, gave us a water kettle and tea to use freely in our room, gave us a room with the best possible view. She also gave us hiking tips for the area and treated us like friends, through in a professional manner. Everything was clean and well-kept.

Garni Hotel Fatra is located in the town of Terchova amid the Mala Fatra National Park, just 200 metres from the ski slope and the hiking cycling tracks. Very nice owners, friendly, helpful, happy.

Penzion Montana is a bed and breakfast located 600 meters from the center of Terchová. Thanks to its location, the guest house is an ideal starting point for tourists, cyclists as well as skiers. Staff was very kind. Great location. Amazing breakfasts.

Penzión Admit is located in quiet surroundings in the village of Terchova in the Mala Fatra Mountains, 3 km from the slopes of the Vratna Ski Centre. Very convinient localiztion if you plan hikking in Mala Fatra. Common space was vey well organized, no noises in bedrooms located upstairs. All neccesary equipment provided in the kitchen.

Horský penzión Šuštiak enjoys a quiet location amidst the Malá Fatra National Park Mountains, 2 km from the centre of Terchová. The room was really clean. The bathroom too. There was a kitchenette in the room however without a hob. There is a sizeable fridge, a kitchen sink and a kettle. There is a large wardrobe next to it and lots of kitchen cupboards. There is a separate communal kitchen on each floor where you can use the hob, microwave etc (no oven). There is plenty of space to sit and eat. There was always space in the car park. If you plan to leave early for the mountains (we left at 5am) ask the host to open the gate, which is locked at night. The Lidl and Coop shops are 3 minutes away by car. From the balcony there is a beautiful view of the "Sokolie" peak.

Penzion Sagan is located in a picturesque village of Štefanová under the Rozsutec Mountain in the Malá Fatra National Park. Great location, beautiful place, very kind stuff, breakfast and dinner just gorgious. Very nice stay.
