Zemianska Kúria Vachtár is located between the city of Poprad and Liptovsky Mikulas. Each room is furnished with stylish antique furniture, has a flat-screen TV, WiFi and en-suit bathroom. Beautiful pension full with antiques to decorate it, with a very kind and accommodating hosts. The yard is like a little animal house with parrots, peacocks and farm animals, so a great place for small kids on it's own. In a quiet village close to everything important around: Trekking in Tatra mountains (15-30 min), Liptovsky Mikulas and Tartalandia water park(20 min), Jasna resort and much more... We stayed in a separate little house with two very small floors which was very nice a but probably a bit to small for a family of 3. It is great for a couple on a tight budget looking some privacy and quiet. Jan, the host, is very nice and tries to make you feel like home. Highly recommended!

The entire place had a chalet vibe and was very traditional. There were a lot of amenities available, but we only used the bar. It's a very nice place; we'll be coming back.

Offering a restaurant, free WiFi in public areas and free parking on site, Chata pod Čertovicou is located in Vyšná Boca, within 500 metres from the Certovica Ski Centre. An excellent renovated room, a good evening meal, fast service, and a very flexible staff. They keep the bar open in the evening, and agreed to earlier breakfast for us, so that we could leave early.

The family-run Penzion Larion is set in the foothills of Tatra Mountains and offers a restaurant and free Wi-Fi in all areas. The room was quiet and it was a good sleep there.
