Ta Fabrika Restavracija, pizzerija in prenočišča ligger i Dravograd, 16 km från St. We were on a bike a tour with a group of friends from Austria forward to Slovenian and our accomodation was here. The staff was super kind and fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable. We also used the restaurant part and it was also a really good one for dinner and and breakfast as well. I can suggest this place for traveller and cyclists as well.

Hotel Hober ligger i Prevalje, 45 km från Klagenfurt, och har ett spa och en bubbelpool. Här finns även en restaurang. Privat parkering erbjuds utan extra kostnad. Rummen har platt-TV. we have stayed one night on the way back home, the main reason was it was close to Austria and the prices on Slovenian side were much more reasonable, we were not expecting anything else than a place we could rest for few hours before going back on the road and we got more that we expected, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very spacious and comfy, there was a tv with multiple channels and WIFI was working fine, in the morning we got a HUGE breakfast in the restaurant on the other side of the street that belongs to the same owners Value for money? BEST, strongly recommend, we regret we only stayed for night and we are sure there are some activities in the area that may cause you to choose this location to stay for more days (there is also SPA in the building)

Krivograd Guesthouse offers accommodation in Prevalje, 5 km from the Austrian border. It is a family run hotel and pets are welcome. Firstly - we were late, but the staff was very accommodating. They waited for us and gave us the option of postponing our reserved dinner slot - they also recommended when to have dinner to avoid the rush our. In the mean time, they gave us recommendations what to see in the region - we had a loose plan, so their suggestions were very welcome. The staff was super friendly and we even got a free upgrade of our primary reservation. The staff was very professional, yet very friendly and "homey". It felt like we were visiting good relatives, although we've never met or been here before. Kudos for service and hospitality. The room was clean and comfortable - the staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The server noticed one of us was a smoker, so they gave us directions, where we can smoke if we should have a need for it. Finding the room was also very simple, because they gave us all the necessary information to find it and make the most of it. We booked a dinner table with some food preferences and they pulled through - dinner was exceptional (Michelin star quality). We wanted a mix of a "traditional dinner" with regional cuisine. The food we were served - I would never in my right mind order something like this, but it was soooooooo good, that we were seriously considering a little nap after dinner. The portions were enormous and so tasty. They met all our expectations and went above and beyond when serving us. I especially liked the presentation of the food served - each dish came with a story and a background how it's made and where it's sourced from (locally of course). The ambient in the restaurant was also very nice - we were impressed by the modern, yet traditional decor that really gave you the general vibe of the region where you're staying. Since we were pressed for time, they also gave us the option to have an open tab to cover when we left - which was super nice and a true lifesaver.

Very nice and clean appartment with beautiful nature views. Very well equipped, beds were very comfortable and they also had some children books and games which was very pleasant suprise for our daughter. The TV was huge. The host seemed very attentive.

Guesthouse Gostilna pri Lipi ligger i Muta och erbjuder en restaurang. WiFi är gratis. Alla rum har parkettgolv, satellit-TV och uppvärmning. We got the booking response really quick and they arranged a wonderful dinner for us. They even offered us to put the bikes into a non used part of the dining room 😀. We were on the Drava Bike Tour and actually it is one of the last places before you have the challenge with the alitude to Maribor. A place worth to stay, when you book in advance. The Lady there was very hospital.
