A Tendinha - Guest House ligger i Peso da Régua, 12 minuters promenad från Douro Museum och 14 km från Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, och har stadsutsikt och gratis WiFi. This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

Follow Google maps to Quinta da Menina Guest house instead and you won't get lost. The place seems brand new but charming. It's spotless and gorgeous. The pool is crystal clear and breakfast is fantastic. Don't make the mistake we made and only book one night. You are going to want to stay at this beautiful oasis and explore the wine area for, at least, a few days. I would have stayed forever if I could.

The host was welcoming, friendly, informative and very generous. The accommodation was large, well equipped and had many bonuses. The area was quiet and safe.

Also the hosts were very nice and most helpful. I have no hesitation recommending Casa 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro for your stay when visiting the Douro Valley. Also they have parking right next door within the building which is most helpful.

Zimão Garden House erbjuder boende i Vila Real, 31 km från Vidagopalatsets golfbana och 43 km från Douro Museum. Quiet place with great confort in a fully renovated house. Small details in the decoration made it unique and unforgettable, the host was very helpful and her two cats really made the end of my trip worthwhile.

We can't even imagine the great experience we had at this place. We arrive after several days at the Douro valley, and by far - this place was the best we chose and stayed in. From the great hospitality of the host, to the facilities (Jacuzzi, Balcony, Breakfast and what not). Do yourself a favour and go there, believe us.

A lovely stay with hosts that treat you like family. The room is spotless clean, and you get to use the dining and living rooms, it’s spacious and nice. But mostly it’s the chance to meet the nicest hosts and feel the real Portugal. We highly recommend it, and hope to come again.

We loved this place - the views, the history. the spaciousness of our room, the beautiful antiques throughout, and especially our times with Carlos and Paula. We loved the town - so charming and picturesque. This was a highlight of our whole trip.
