I'm very grateful for choosing to stay at Hostal universal in Huaraz! I highly recommend this place for various reasons. It's conveniently located just blocks away from the city center, and just outside the hostel doors you will find loads of fresh fruits, vegetables, and many local shops! The rooms are very well priced and VERY well maintained, with hot showers, fresh linens, tv's, lots of space, private bathrooms, and they even clean your rooms EVERY day! Although I can attest to the above, what really sold me on this place was the hospitality that I received from Dante & Yovana. It's a family ran business that goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is fantastic. They serve breakfast, and continuously accommodated for me as I often left early to do some trekking. They were even kind enough to allow me to store my bags there during a 4 day trek (secured away) and have a later check out since I was taking a night bus back to Lima. If you're looking for a quiet and friendly place that feels very comfortable, I definitely recommend staying here at Hostal Universal! Hacienda Norabuena ligger i Recuay, 29 km från Rosas Pampa stadion, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en terrass och en restaurang. Melissa and her husband were wonderful hosts, welcoming us onto their property with a tour of the grazing lands behind the hotel, introducing us to all their animals (friendly dogs, llamas, sheep, cattle, chickens, rabbits), and conversing with us throughout the evening. They gave us advice on our trip through Peru and seemed genuinely interested in our travels. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and secluded. They cooked dinner (15 soles, I think) and breakfast for us (2-3 soles pp) and both were delicious with farm fresh eggs.

Alpino Guest House erbjuder boende i Huaraz (Ancash), 2,9 km från Rosas Pampa stadion. Utöver rumsservice har detta boende även en terrass. We loved the staff, they were friendly, kind, communicative, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond for us. They also spoke English very well, which is not common in Huaraz, so that made this stay a lot easier for us because we are not strong Spanish speakers. The rooms and the bathroom were clean. The location was quiet so we were able to sleep well. Hot water was available (the labels were incorrect but there was hot water nonetheless). We had good phone signal/reception and wifi was available. The hotel staff also booked our tours for us which helped make our trip smooth and easy. They also offered to make us breakfast for a small fee since we had to be up really early for our tours. This was such a pleasant stay, I highly recommend.

Residencial Norandes ligger i Huaraz och har en trädgård och en terrass. Här finns en 24-timmarsreception och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Rummen har eget badrum, och vissa rum har en terrass. Norma was a great host. The house was extremely clean, which was very nice. Norma also provided our trekking to Laguna 69 which was super nice. The price/quality expectations were beyond met. It is a nice, quiet residency from where you can go on trips/trekkings well-rested.
