Dune Towers is a recently renovated guest house in Alankuda, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. Exceptional building. Little remote location, but we have fully enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere in the garden and beach just for ourselves. Hundreds of dolphins during boat trip! Breakfast was superb.

Even better than the photos and super friendly people treat you just like family. Such a clan and nicely decorated place and super comfortable beds, comforter and fluffy pillows on a soft bed. just what we needed! Also about as close as you can get to the rickshaw run start line so was a super location for us. No hot water but we didn’t even miss it.

Sun Wind Beach offers authentic traditionally designed cabanas and backpacker's accommodation set next to the banks of Kalpitiya Lagoon. Had an amazing time at Sun Wind Beach and would definitely recommend staying here. The lagoon is perfect to learn how to kite and Susantha and his team are great teachers and make sure that you'll have fun in the process. After kite sessions are also a reason to stay here; chilling, sharing the Sri Lankan dinners made by Subha (Susantha's cousin), discussing the wind conditions, drinking a few beers and making jokes ;) I'll difinitely be back!!
