Kirinda Heaven - Yala, a property with an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, is set in Kirinda, 700 metres from Kirinda Beach, less than 1 km from Nidangala Beach, as well as 14 km from Tissa Wewa. I stayed one night at Kirinda Heaven. It’s a beautiful, family run property. The property is fairly new so all of the accommodations are modern. It also has a stand alone bungalow room, which I stayed in, which is like having one’s own little home! There is a beautiful pool on the property as well. The family that runs the property is great and will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.

Located within less than 1 km of Tissa Wewa and 25 km of Bundala Bird Sanctuary in Tissamaharama, Tissa Rainbow Guest & Yala provides accommodation with seating area. The air conditioning worked well plus a strong ceiling fan. The room was clean as well and the host provided an adapter in the room. He also welcomed us with two fresh coconut waters and on the morning of our safari at 5am he was kind enough to make us coffee. On our last day he gave us fresh watermelon slices before checking out. We were also picked up and dropped off from the bus station by the host. Very helpful and kind. Would recommend

Boasting river views, Riverview Cabana Tissamaharama features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. Great spot to base yourself for Yala Park. The Cabana has 2 rooms available to book, one on the top floor with a terrace and one on the ground floor. My friend and I each booked one of the rooms which are equal in size and amenities. Very clean and a decent shower, good ac and wifi. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She helped us with booking a Yala Park Tour. Best breakfast! Overall, great price and spot for access to Yala.

Set in Tangalle, 400 metres from Tangalle Beach, Heaven in Satinwoods offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This was our first stay here, but not the last! We extended our stay for more nights because this place is so wonderful. We loved every single detail here - the rooms are clean and chill thanks to A/C. There is water, tea, coffee and water boiler in the room. You get fresh juice, refreshing towel and flower necklace when you arrive. The tables are also decorated with flowers and there were so many different things on the menu which you can order here. And the food, rice and curry, was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Same with the breakfast so it was also our favourite. You can get also really good coffee here! The nature around is beautiful and they are taking so good care of the plants and animals. We saw for example giant squirrel and so many beautiful birds during our stay. It’s nice to swim at the Rock Pool Beach, which is close. We have travelled a lot and this is the only place we can really say feels like home. The most important thing which makes this place so special are the people - special thanks to Dalu and Chami. They are the most friendly and helpful people, we had a great time with them. They make this place a paradise where you want to return again and again.

Offering a garden and lake view, Blue Sky Hotel Yala is located in Yala, 3 km from Tissa Wewa and 28 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary. Clean air-conditioned room, large balcony, safe and peaceful location. Arranged tours of Yala and provided a large quality breakfast. Property communicated well and were so helpful with local suggestions. Great value for the price.

Located in Tangalle, 200 metres from Goyambokka Beach, Goyambokka Guesthouse provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The Guesthouse is located within walking distance of the two most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka - Goyambokka and Silent Beach. It's based in a very quiet area surrounded by a beautiful garden with a pool to relax. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Located just 2.5 km from Tissa Wewa, Blue Birds Tissa & Yala safari provides accommodation in Tissamaharama with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Such a wondeful place to stay. The host is so helpful and friendly. He helped us arrange a safari with a very good guide and took us around to local attractions like birdwatching and batwatching and made getting to and from Tissa easy. Good food and clean room.

Much more than I expected!!especially the young hotel staff has a great hospitality and so gentle.It's not luxury hotel, but the level of his hospitality is that kind of level.He gave me so much local information even before I ask.Room is enough spacious and clean.I highly recommend to stay here. And f you think about visiting Yala safari tour, definitely the best choice to stay here.

Boasting lake views, Lake Face Cabana offers accommodation with balcony, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Our time in this place was a genuinely beautiful experience. Equipped with binoculars, we enjoyed observing birds by the lake during the day. In the evening, the owner generously offered us a ride to a larger lake, where we had the opportunity to look at the bird nests and trees full of bats in the middle of the lake. The family was exceptionally helpful, providing us with delicious meals and engaging in friendly conversations. Additionally, they organised a memorable safari for us. We felt truly welcomed and embraced by their hospitality.

Featuring garden views, V Cabanas features accommodation with terrace, around 2.6 km from Tissa Wewa. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Hosts were so friendly and helpful, they helped us book a safari which was also excellent and very good price. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka. Hot water, good AC, very clean, couldn’t be nicer!
