One of the nicest places we have stayed in Sri Lanka - couldn’t recommend enough.

Neem Forest GH is somewhat outside the city but only a short tuktuk ride away. As a result it is a beautifully peaceful and extremely quiet location. Dawn chorus of birds was amazing. The host was extremely helpful and ready to talk about all matter of subjects. The Sri Lanken breakfast was always too much and the host made sure it was always different. Nearby is the many kilometer long sand beach (no other tourists) where you watch the fishermen pull in their nets of caught fish. Meem Forest is highly recommended.

Located within less than 1 km of Dutch Fort Batticaloa and a 19-minute walk of Batticaloa Railway Station, Sri Construction Circuit Bungalow features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom... It was a quick stay but the host ensured I had everything I needed from the moment I arrived. The room was very large with lots of areas to sit and or set your personal items on which was appreciated. I had a spacious kitchen to cook if I preferred (grocery store right down the street). The bathroom was on the smaller side but had everything you’d need.

Si el que voleu és només anar a la platja és ideal: està just davant. El dia que marxàvem teníem un bus a les 5am i el propietari ens va buscar un tuktuk per les 4.30am i es va llevar a aquella hora per despedir-nos i presentar-nos al del tuktuk. El jardí de la casa és preciós.
