Actually, this was the Best place we stayed during our Lao trip. Affordable luxury. Highly Recommended!

Situated right next to Wat Mai Temple and just a 2-minute walk from the famous Night Market on Sisavangvong Road, Golden Lotus Place offers accommodation with free WiFi in all areas. The location is perfect to visit Luang Prabang centre, day market happens in the same street as the hotel and night market is 1min away ! Lisa is just the most kind and perfect hostess I even thought she was the owner of this small hotel ! Thank you Lisa, you really made my stay! Breakfast is correct for the amount I paid.

Old colonial building. Staff was very kind and eager to help with anything you need. Beds were comfortable. Staff was great, kindly helped with bus tickets and kept a duffle bag for us for 5 days. Breakfast was good.

I thought that this was just another guesthouse but the design and the quality of the stay was excellent. Arrived earlier than expected and I already got the room ready for use. Room was spacious, clean and really aesthetically pleasing. The location was central and personally for me, quiet which was helpful for me to read and do my reflection. There was food around the area so you don’t have to fret. Breakfast was also provided and the team checks in with you every evening on what you like to have. Having transferred from another luxury hotel, the experience at Baan Pila is comparable and perhaps even more personalised. Free bike was super helpful for me to travel around (even cycling to the gym which was not too far away). I was amazed by the quality of the amenities (shampoo and handwash) that I bought the original brand when I returned to Vientiane. I would recommend anyone to consider staying with the team.
