Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. The man running the guesthouse communicated well in advance and sent us a payment link early so we didn’t need to think about it on holiday. When we arrived he was welcoming, friendly, had cooked us fresh bread and banana cake. They had fast internet, a kitchen stocked for breakfast, and he told us where all the best places in the area were. Fantastic place to stay!

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. The staff is very helpful since we came later than 8:00 pm but we got all information/help we need. The room is clean and quiet. The location is good that is close to the lake Myvatn and also the camp-site where my friend stayed. Good value.

Everything about this guesthouse is nice. The breakfast provided has a very good spread. The homemade jam was nice. Milk from their cows were tasty. The rooms are clean and very well equipped. The aurora view were extremely beautiful & awesome. The hosts are very attentive as well.

The Mývatn Nature Baths is a 10-minute drive away. very very clean for a hostel. i wasnt expecting much but it was SUPER CLEAN!! highly recommend!! kitchen was fully equipped and even the shared toilet is very clean. the room we got has a basin too!

Quietly located 5 km from Iceland's Ring Road and 13 km from Lake Mývatn, this family-run guest house offers views over Sandfell Mountain. Amazing hospitality. They allowed us to stay hours before the check in due to the bad weather conditions. Then when leaving our car was stuck in the snow and they helped us to move it. Amazing breakfast and dinner food quality, all homemade.
