We were the only 2 people booked for the night but when we woke up there was this massive and delicious breakfast. I was astounded by all the different kinds of food they offered. I would stay here all nights if we weren’t going to drive around Iceland.

Plenty of cozy corners and shared kitchen space, beds were comfortable and room and bathroom was immaculately clean. Plenty of outdoor space to run around in and overall a great experience.

The property is non-smoking and is located 48 km from Thingvellir National Park. Great location and great house. Everything we could possibly need was provided. It has a nice size kitchen so you can cook your own meals. It was great to have our own hot tub to relax in after a day out and about. Great value!

Staff can help arrange horseback riding trips. Free public parking is possible next to Varmi Guesthouse. Nice quiet place in Hveragerdi, an apartment with all you need. The hosts live there so they were nice to us when we arrived a bit later in the evening. They even asks us if we wanted to use the hot tub outside or have anything to wash. The rooms look exactly as in the picture, the heating was ok, the kitchen was fully equipped if you wanted to eat in, the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom had a lot of towels for the two of us. 10/10.

Guesthouse Nordheimar offers light rooms with free Wi-Fi, each with a flat-screen TV and simply decorated in neutral tones. All have black-out curtains for the long summer days, and some rooms have shared bathroom facilities. The house is absolutely beautiful and the owner is the perfect host.
