There are so many aspects of our stay at Alas that exceeded our expectations, the view, the location, room size & comfort, the breakfasts, and most of all the host, Nikos. We stayed at Alas for 11 nights, from the moment we arrived Nikos made us feel so welcome and at home. Throughout the trip he was kind, interested in us, and dropped everything to help us when he could. He was so helpful with recommending where we should visit on the island, activities and hikes, what restaurants we should try, as well as answering all our (many) questions about history, geology, and the culture of the island. He also made us the most fantastic breakfasts every day made from local ingredients, which was the best way to start our day after a swim in the crystal clear sea water off the deck.

Beautiful 2 story cottages. Very clean and in a quiet place overlooking olive grove and the sea in the distance. Lots of privacy. Beach, restaurants and supermarket within 5-10 min walking distance. For small family or quiet couple this is a perfect base to explore the island. Owner Panos is very friendly and helpful. He let us stay 3 more hours to cover our waiting time for flight. We highly recommend this place.

The location was perfect, just a 3-minute walk to the beach. The view over the bay was beautiful. The building was rustic and full of character. The room was also really well equipped for self catering. The owners were so lovely, so kind and generous. We were really sad to leave. It was wonderful.

THIRES Guesthouse ligger i Vasilikos, mindre end 1 km fra Gerakas Strand og 15 minutters gang fra Porto Roma Strand. The place is really amazing! I felt like I came to the summerhouse of my friends :) The owners, managers are very friendly and did everything for me to feel comfortable and cosy. The territory appeared even bigger than on the pictures - there are different cosy corners, where you can relax, including stunning pool area. You will also find everything you need in the room (cups, teapot, fridge etc) + there is common kitchen, where you can cook on your own or share with someone. There are also several nice tavernas not far from the hotel - you can have delicious food for reasonable prices. The room was cleaned twice during my 4 days stay. THIRES is a great place too stay if you are searching for a quiet and relaxing vacation.

Attic flat ''Tsoukalas Group'' tilbyder indkvartering med terrasse og bjergudsigt, ca. 500 m fra Zante Town Beach. Denne feriebolig har balkon med udsigt over byen. Great location, a roomy shower, which is rare, and the Tsoukalas group helped us with whatever we needed. Extremely accommodating and nice people

Tzane Luxury Suites har udsigt over byen og tilbyder indkvartering med grillfaciliteter og balkon, ca. 1,7 km fra Zante Town Beach. Denne feriebolig har terrasse og udsigt til den indre gårdhave. The location of the apartment was really good, in the center of the city and really convenient if you approach the island by boat. The interior was carefully decorated and it included everything and more than you might need during your stay. We felt like we were at home! Thank you very much!

La Terrazza di Carlo e Luisa ligger i Zakynthos by, 2 km fra Vathi Lagadi Strand, og har havudsigt, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. Der tilbydes bagageopbevaring og udendørs pejs. As all previous reviews have pointed out - the host of the property is absolutely wonderful. The house itself is of course also lovely but Luisa adds that "extra" that is usually not expected and that is very heartwarming. The room had everything necessary, looked well thought out, had a pretty terrace with nice view and the overall area is quiet and perfect for a relaxing vacation. There are good restaurants, little quiet (pebble) beaches and a store in the area. Also there's a possibility close by to book a tour on a boat around the northern tip of the island which should be a must-do when in Zakynthos.
