Even in the beginning of August, the heart of tourist season, Elisa and Costas made us feel as if we were the only visitors staying in their exceptionally lovely house, when, in fact, they were operating at full occupancy. It must be said that our room, as well as the entirety of Villa Maria, was elegantly-decorated, impeccably cared for, tasteful, and, quite simply, beautiful. When Costas met us at Miaouli Square and proceeded to retrieve my wife’s carry-on suitcase as well as another roller bag from another couple also booked into the guest house, carry them up the MANY stairs (perhaps the only caveat to consider depending on one’s fitness level) to the house, while he negotiated simultaneous conversations in Greek and English to accommodate both couples, we knew we were in for a pleasant stay. Later, his recommendations for beaches, restaurants, tavernas, and delicious gelato, and more—all clearly plotted into a map for our use—were fine-tuned after a bit of conversation to suit us. And even though we usually like to discover destinations on our own when we travel, we soon found ALL of his recommendations hit the mark! Elisa, too, encouraged us to imagine that we were living in our own private island home away from home. A mix up in scheduling for her Greek cooking class—a guest’s mistake, not hers—meant that our late-notice sign-up for the afternoon would have to be cancelled.

Objekat Onar Syros - Rustic Rooms se nalazi u gradu Ermupoli, na 17 min. hoda od znamenitosti Plaža Asteria, a nudi klimatizovane smeštajne jedinice i terasu. Fantastic location. Very clean rooms. Fairly quiet as not on the main road. Easy walk to everywhere. Christina was really helpful with tips on where to go and places to eat. As we went just after Easter baskets of chocolate eggs and sweets on every level.Totally enjoyed our stay.

Objekat Oisyra Hotel, koji je smešten u gradu Ermupoli, na manje od 1 km od znamenitosti Plaža Asteria i 8 min. Very close to the Port, which was perfect as I travelled with my 12 year old daughter. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Room is spacious and clean.

Offering a sun terrace and Aegean Sea views, Locadiera Pansion is located in the heart of Ermoupoli in the Syros Region, 500 metres from Saint Nicholas Church. Free WiFi is provided throughout. I'm so glad for the ferry strike because if not we wouldn't have known about this accommodation. It was so charming and nicely decorated. There is a beautiful terrace at the roof of the building with sea view where we were served coffee and biscuits. The hosts are wonderful. It's right in the city center around restaurants, shops, 5 min walk from the port. Definitely will be staying here when we go back to Syros.

Objekat u porodičnom vlasništvu Ethrion smešten je u pešačkoj ulici u starom gradskom jezgru, na 150 metara od Luke Ermopolis i glavnog trga. Friendly and hospital staff 🙂,nice view from our window,pleasant room.What else could you need for a good holiday?🙂

Achilleion is set in an 1880’s neoclassic building. With a central location opposite the Syros Industrial Museum, the traditional guesthouse offers uniquely styled rooms with town and port views. The guest house is an old traditional house with exceptional decoration, like a small museum. The room was spacious with a nice air conditioning unit that was very usefull due to the heat wave at the time of my visit. A nice addition was the ability to make coffee and a cold bottle of water in the fridge. The neighborhood is quiet and close to super markets and the harbor.

Enjoying a central location at Iroon Square , Aeolia Boutique Studios features air-conditioned accommodation with balcony and free Wi-Fi. We loved the accommodation! Our room was clean and neat and well prepared. It was serviced on a daily basis. The bed was comfortable and the design of the room was modern and well organized. We got many valuable recommendations from the owner and she was very helpful. We even got fresh figs twice as a little surprise! All in all a very pleasant stay and we would definitely return.

Featuring a hilltop location, Wind Tales is situated in the Medieval part of Ano Syros, overlooking the Aegean Sea and Ermoupolis Port. The green hotel offers traditional accommodation. Everything was perfect! Located in the old city of Ano Syros, with an amazing view on Ermoupoli. The rooms are beautiful, carved out of the rock. Bed was very comfy and attention to details on the decoration is outstanding. Very nice staff, that gave us plenty of tips on the island and brought breakfast to the private balcony. Highly recommended!
