Set in Kyle of Lochalsh, Heatherbrae Cosy Wooden Pod has a garden. Free private parking is available. Heather was so sweet and the communication was so good. The pod is so well-equipped and cozy. There is a full bathroom in the pod. Also we had a lot of snacks and breakfast items like cereal, orange juice, milk, porridge pots and tea. It is just a very short drive to Skye and I imagine it is also beautiful on the veranda of the pod in the summer. Because we had a flat tire with our car and couldn‘t come the first night, Heather made sure we could still stay 2 nights as planned because she originally didn‘t want to rent the pod for Hogmanay. We really appreciated that and enjoyed our stay.

Situated within 1.2 km of Kyle of Lochalsh and 15 km of Eilean Donan Castle in Kyle of Lochalsh, Heatherbrae Guest House features accommodation with seating area. Heather was the perfect hostess. A very warm welcome,.and altgough she states no breakfast, we had our own fridge, stocked with milk, juice, water, fruit and yogurt. Also a microwave and porridge pots for DIY breakfast. Our room was luxurious with comfy twin beds, tv, and a unit with crockery etc. Large en-suit with toietries. Everything was spotlessly clean. Heather even washed all our picnic plates etc. I cannot recommwnd Heatherbrea highly enough. Heather has also recently installed a glamping pod in her garden, and although we dudn't see inside it was clearly a very upmarket unit and I'm sure would have been as high a standard as our room.

Located in Braes on the Isle of Skye, Balmoral Skye offers accommodation with sea views as well as mountain and garden views. Excellent room with a wonderful view. the couple who own the place were exceptionally kind, gracious, and helpful.

Breakfast was fresh and tasty, well presented. We felt very welcome and comfortable in this lovely home. Thankyou

Set in Portree and only 37 km from Dunvegan Castle, Stonefield House offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property has garden and inner courtyard views. A gem of a B&B in Portree. The owner has furnished the rooms with care and taste. Breakfast is great and you even get whisky for your nightcap. Loved it.

Frankly, you would be lucky to score a room in this hotel. It is very small, four rooms only, it is family run. They take exceptional care of you. The hotel is well and very creatively designed, it is exceptionally clean. The attention to detail is unparalleled. The food created by Scott is on par with best restaurants we have eaten in. And every morning you have an opportunity to discuss your dinner with him. Murdo gives excellent advise on what to do on the Isle of Skye. One of the best hotel experiences ever.

Location is a little out of town but only a ten minute walk to town center. Plenty of good food for breakfast, also gave us everything gluten free because of an allergy. Very private with great outdoor access. We liked the room with sky lights and plenty of hot water in the shower.

Set 13 km from Portree, just 41 km from Talisker Distillery, Seal Cottage offers beachfront accommodation with a garden, a private beach area, a terrace and free WiFi. It was a perfect quiet little spot for our trip to Skye. I was glad to be out of touristy Portree and have the option to cook simple meals when we wanted to. I loved the view of the ocean, and the welcoming touches such as the breakfast basket and the vegan cupcakes on arrival. I also appreciate the hiking maps and poles you loaned to us for our trip to the Quarraing.
