Ty Castell Guest House is situated in Caerphilly, 13 km from University of South Wales - Cardiff Campus, 13 km from Motorpoint Arena Cardiff, as well as 14 km from Cardiff Castle. very friendly, full of good humour, gave good advice of places to eat and drink, could not fault it. 10 mins to town walking, went out of their way to accommodate us, putting extra chair outside just very good value for what you get, paid bit extra for a great breakfast but you could walk into town or go without that’s what was good about it

Located in Abergavenny and only 15 km from Longtown Castle, Deri-Down Guest House provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This is a family-run guesthouse which has been very nicely renovated. We booked 2 rooms which are on the 1st floor (not ground floor) so there's a short flight of stairs to contend with. The host was very welcoming and helped us with our luggages up the flight of stairs. They provided extras (eg. the bath had a brandnew bath sponge for our use) which we were not expecting and really made the place memorable. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. Just for information, the double room has a bathtub and small fridge (the twin room only has a shower and no fridge). I would book again if I was in Abergavenny.

Offering a terrace and views of the garden, The Lychgate is situated in Caldicot. Parking is not guaranteed There is a free public car park 200 yards across the road in Caldicot Castle.. There's nothing to fault , for myself personally, a perfect stay & a most certainly a perfect location. I would highly recommend it ! Coffee, absolutely awesome. So good I asked for a take out for my short walkabout around the corner amongst the Castle grounds.

Good selection of ales and well thought out wine list. Well placed for Abergavenny and beautiful local walks along the river Usk.

Set in a 17th-century former farmhouse just metres from the banks of the River Wye, Parva Guesthouse is less than a mile from historic Tintern Abbey. Excellent stay in the beautiful village of Tintern. The hotel was well situated and had comfortable and unique rooms in what was a former farmhouse. The staff were excellent and the restaurant was superb.

The quiet the view from the bedroom window the jacuzzi under the moonlit sky having no contact with the owner very private great bathroom comfortable bed. We found it a bit of a special place however we were really lucky with the waether.
