This was the best hotel we stayed at our whole vacation! Beautiful rooms with unique decor and lots of details that made our stay comfortable. Excellent staff, lovely meals, walkable location.

Corsewall Arms Guest House is situated in Stranraer and offers a terrace. Jo was very helpful. I came from Belfast with Stena Line. The ferry had five hours delay. That meant I arrived at Cosewell Arms at midnight. Jo (the owner) organized the "key-box" and I could enter without problem. The next morning a complete Scottish breakfast. GREAT

Situated in Dumfries, within less than 1 km of Dumfries and County Golf Club and 2.3 km of Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club, Hamilton House features accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi as... The dairy-free provision at breakfast, didn't expect that at all. What a treat (I'm lactose intolerant and normally there aren't alternatives).

Set in Lockerbie and only 23 km from Dumfries and County Golf Club, Bishopcleugh Guest House offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Absolutely the best, fantastic hosts, could not have wished for better. Super clean room and facilities. From USA but once lived in southern Scotland - a home from home. Read great reviews before booking and was not disappointed! Next time I visit the Lockerbie area I will come to Bishopcleugh and hopefully be able to spend more one night.

The Harbour Inn features a garden, restaurant, a bar and tennis court in Garlieston. The property is non-smoking and is set a few steps from Garlieston Beach. Fantastic breakfast. Evening meals sensibly priced. Made to feel welcome by everyone.
