It was an incredible few days in Rovaniemi that I will cherish forever in my memory. The accommodation was simply spectacular, and the bed was super comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming; he picked us up at the train station and even gave us a ride back to the bus station on our departure, in addition to helping us with various questions about transportation and other things. My husband and I loved the city of Rovaniemi and our stay at the guest house. I am very grateful to the hosts for their hospitality.

Boasting mountain views, TaloYlläs, Huonemajoitus provides accommodation with barbecue facilities, around 37 km from Kolari Train Station. TaloYlläs is everything that I am looking for in an accomodation in Lapland. It’s cozy, authentic and hosted by friendly people. It has a sauna, ski waxing facilities and direct access to cx ski tracks.

Kierinki Village Majatalo features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Kierinki. The inn has a sauna, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The owners of the place are very hospitable. The village is remote from big cities and that makes it the best to spot auroras. We were lucky to see them at the first night. The village is just 1.5 hours away from Rovaniemi or Kittila/Levi ski resort, so you can easily drive there by car if you want more action. I recommend doing snowmobile tour which can be arranged by the owners of the village.
