Great location, less than 5 minutes to the ferry. We arrived at 3am and had arranged for someone to pick us up and a private boat through the guesthouse. All went perfectly. They helped us arrange tours as well! Great air con, wifi, breakfast was nice, you can get food from a local cafe delivered and the staff were helpful.

Nice area to experience Nubian culture and people. Much more quiet than on the other loud side full with scammers. On this westbank hotel side you can relax, without 1000 people trying to constantly sell you something. Very good food from the Host. Cheap to reach side with boat (10 EPG per person). Would recommend this host and hotel to everybody. 👍🏼

The place itself is far from the crowds but an easy ferry away from everything, and there are interesting things to see on elephantine island itself. La Terrace is very clean, and the rooms and the beds are generously sized. As for Mohammed, he will make you feel at home right from the start, will organise everything you need, and at very fair prices. Absolute value for money.

The rooms have all the basic necessities and is very clean. The staffs were very nice and the food was great! Kafana helped us arrange a private transport to Abu Simbel at a reasonable price, gave complimentary rides to their motor boat and even checked in on us to make sure we made it safely to our destination. Great hospitality at great value!

Wanas Kato Guest House ligger vid stranden i Ash Shallāl och har en egen strand samt gratis WiFi. Amazing location! Super friendly and polite staff. We enjoyed an amazingly delicious local lunch after the city observation. The hotel is located in a fantastic and authentic place at the riverside. This place is highly recommended for a short stay to see the Philae Temple.
