The Mango Guest House is set in Aswan, 700 metres from Aswan Christian Cathedral and 1 km from El-Tabia Mosque. Really nice place, recommend if you are, staying in Aswan! The place is in a small Island, the staff is really friendly.

La Terrace is very clean, and the rooms and the beds are generously sized. As for Mohammed, he will make you feel at home right from the start, will organise everything you need, and at very fair prices. Absolute value for money.

It's a fairly simple guest house on Elephantine Island. The staff are friendly and warm. Food is awesomely delicious (breakfast). Best breakfast I had in my Egypt trip. Very hearty and flavourful. And the guest house is right by the Nile River, facing the West Bank where the tombs on the hills are fairly visible. The sunrise and sunset is magnificent. The view is great and unobstructed.

Kafana helped us arrange a private transport to Abu Simbel at a reasonable price, gave complimentary rides to their motor boat and even checked in on us to make sure we made it safely to our destination. Great hospitality at great value!
