Mohamed and his family were incredibly welcoming. They are truely amazing hosts and will make you feel right at home. The flat was very clean, the pool wonderful. The location on the west bank is really perfect: 15 min walk to the ferry (only 10EGP) and you are in Luxor centre, while the Valley of the Kings and other west bank attractions are a short drive away.

I spent some of the happiest days of my life in Luxor thanks in no small part to the Pharaonic Rose. They have a rooftop with a view of the cliffs and Medinet Habu. The seating area downstairs is shady and in an oasis of a garden. It's very close to Medinet Habu, but far enough away that it is very quiet. It was so nice to have a quiet and peaceful place to return to after the bustle of the tourist areas. The food was amazing. They would just pile heaps of delicious food in front of you. The breakfast was the best I had in Egypt and they can prepare lunch and dinner for you as well. They also organized very affordable transportation for reaching different sites in the area. The family that runs the Pharaonic Rose is extremely kind and welcoming. By the end of the stay I felt like part of the family and the Pharaonic Rose felt like home. To get all that for such a reasonable price is unbelievable! It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. If you are going to Luxor, stay here.

Amazing location for seeing the tombs and temples. Tayeb is incredibly helpful with all things Egypt not just what’s around Luxor. His hospitality is the best I’ve experienced in all of Egypt. Make sure to have dinner there as it’s the best food I’ve had all trip long. Breakfast is also incredibly filling with a variety of different foods every morning. If you require a driver for anything (I recommend it for sightseeing) ask for Hassan he was a legend. He knew all of the best times to visit places to avoid the crowds and lots of local hidden gems which I would not have found otherwise. The property itself has a pool, small library and many sitting areas. The amount of literature on the surrounding area (half French/half English literature) in the library alone makes the visit worth it. Definitely take an evening or two to read through everything and to pick Tayeb’s brain about the locals tombs. He is a wealth of knowledge. Also on site there is a couple of really well behaved cute pets. The West Bank is quieter than city life on the East but that’s part of the charm. For anyone who is considering going to Luxor I would 10/10 recommend staying here.

Karima House asub Luxori läänekalda piirkonnas, 1,8 km kaugusel Medinet Habu templist, 2,7 km kaugusel Memnoni Colossist ja 2,8 km kaugusel Deir el-Medinast. It's a lovely, spacious, cozy, friendly place, very clean, comfortable beds and with amazing sunset view. The staff was helpful and friendly. we feld like we were part of the family. I liked the breakfast too - it was very tasty. We had enjoyable time in Karima house!

Yasmine Guest House asub Luxori läänekalda piirkonnas, 4,9 km kaugusel Medinet Habu templist, 5,3 km kaugusel Deir el-Medinast ja 5,8 km kaugusel Queensi orust. I stayed at the hotel for four days, and it was a very good stay. The hotel has been newly refurbished, which made it look nice and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent, and Nasser, the host, kindly adapted to my vegetarian diet, for which I am grateful. There were days when I needed an early breakfast, and they kindly accommodated that request. Additionally, the room was a decent size and had all the necessities. The location is in the west bank, closer to the countryside, with a few good restaurants and a nearby shop for essentials. However, you can take a quick 5-minute ferry to the East bank, which is livelier. The host checked in regularly to ensure my stay was fine and to answer any questions. They also offered me an airport ride for a small additional charge of ten dollars or pounds sterling. Karim, who works as a guide/driver for the hotel, drove me and guided me through places like the Hastepuy temple, Valley of Kings, Luxor temple, etc. He was welcoming and excellent in his guiding and answering questions. Overall, I felt very welcome, almost as if I had stayed with long-distance relatives. I thank Karim, Nasser, and the rest of the team for making my Luxor trip so memorable.
