So much thought and detail has gone into it, to make it the perfect stay. Whilst you are remote, there are all the modern comforts of home and more, with the bonus of real nature outside. Say hello to the Kangaroos every morning and evening, as you sit outside absorbing the raw beauty of this place and the glorious sunrises and sunsets. Not forgetting the Goannas, Koalas, and abundant birdlife Centrally located on the island which makes it very good for visiting the rest of glorious Kangaroo Island. The night sky is simply breath-taking. Staying here, was a privilege, and one we will never forget.

Wanderers Rest on Kangaroo Island is a small seaside guest house. The beautiful venue has come into new management, a small family run business. The price is good and and view is so amazing with the beautiful blue ocean . The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown Kangaroo island Thank you Dhea and Family for an excellent stay. You guys were professional in every way. Accommodation and food was of the highest standard specially the Dinner that is so amazing and a wonderful experience for us. Looking forward to booking with you again.

Featuring sea views, The Anchorage Cottage Kangaroo Island features accommodation with water sports facilities and a balcony, around 37 km from Christmas Cove Marina. The decor in the Anchorage was quirky and colourful. The property was well equipped and in a good location. I would definitely stay there again as I thought it was reasonably priced and value for money. Kangaroo Island is always a magnificent place to visit.
