Set in Greta and with Hunter Valley Gardens reachable within 20 km, The Table Guest House offers a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. We loved our stay at The Table Guest house! The property is gorgeous and and Jo, the owner is an incredible host! We rarely experienced such a high level of care :) PS: The homemade breakfast is absolutely delicious!

Located in Pokolbin, the renovated Spicers Guesthouse offers an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. Éremo Restaurant, with its modern Italian cuisine is a centerpiece of the retreat. Location is great if you want to walk to local winery's. Or you can use their bikes or hire e bikes. Staff are friendly, but the location of hotel sitting high over looking the pond with kangaroos out front is a true aussie experience.

Built in 1860, the historic Bronte Boutique Hotel is located just 50 meters from the Hunter River. The rooms were extremely nice, free tea and coffee in the lounge room adds a nice touch to an already beautiful stay. Will definitely stay here again

Offerring free WiFi and BBQ facilities, Grapevines Boutique Accommodation is 2 minutes’ drive from Hunter Valley Gardens. The family that own the business are so friendly and accommodating. A very quiet location and private also.

Situated on the edge of the Brokenback Mountain Range, Elfin Hill Vineyard Accommodation boasts a swimming pool and free on-site parking. Marie and Mark went out of their way to make our holiday fabulous. Breakfast was excellent. Location is quiet with amazing views.

Set on 25 acres, in the heart of wine country, Red Door Collective - RDC Vineyard Estate enjoys breathtaking views of the Brokenback Ranges and is home to one of the smallest commercial vineyards in... What an amazing property! If I could give more than 10 stars, I would. We stayed in the Cabernet cottage/suite which was this cute apartment. We saw Kangaroos on the property, and it was so quiet and peaceful amongst the vineyards. The bed was so comfortable with high quality bedding. The full hot breakfast was excellent, and we really enjoyed visiting with the hosts. I would highly recommend RDC for your stay in the Hunter Valley!

Tranquil Vale Vineyard provides a peaceful retreat in homely, standalone cottages. It has an outdoor pool, a vineyard and a library of books and movies. Super relaxing place to stay. Set in a vineyard, with your own cabin it was peaceful in the extreme. You can walk around the vineyard, there are friendly animals (at the time of our stay there were dogs, a cow and a super friendly pig) to say hello to, or you can avoid them and swim in the pool. Close to the rest of the hunter wine region. Cabin was comfortable, and spacious.

Set in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region, Thistle Hill Guesthouse - walk to many wineries and restaurants offers a peaceful escape from the city. Everything. It was a lovely location and we were warmly welcomed.

Gullivers Guest House is situated in East Maitland, 33 km from Energy Australia Stadium, 33 km from Newcastle International Hockey Centre, as well as 33 km from Newcastle Showground. The whole stay was delightful. We loved the self contained aspect, the setting, the cleanliness. Being able to have our dog was an absolute bonus. The quietness of the neighbourhood. The sprawling, immaculately kept front yards and all the neighbourhood dogs beautifully contained. Even the red chicken who kept escaping added to our delight. Thank you for a beautiful space to stay.

Situated in Wollombi, in a historic building, 40 km from Hunter Valley Gardens, Capers Cottage and Barn Accommodation is a guest house with a garden and terrace. The historic village of Wollombi was very scenic, we didn't have time to explore it as we were there for our daughter's wedding at a nearby retreat. We were warmly greeted by our host Jane, who took us on a tour of the main house which was a magnificent example of an early colonial mansion, very historic in origin. The Capers Guesthouse had a choice of three separate buildings for a stay, we had the Barn which was a real highlight as it was literally a slab barn with beautiful interior, so rustic but comfortable. The furniture inside was a collection of antiques which reflected the heritage atmosphere of the Barn and town. All modern facilities for cooking, the supplied breakfast had a choice of cereals or full cooked breakfast. The ingredients supplied were the best quality, tomatoes, huge mushrooms, eggs and the best sausages and bacon I've tasted in a long time. The bed was a huge king size, very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and supplied by fresh rainwater from tanks. We want to try the other buildings for a stay in the future and have the pleasure of a historic building stay.
