The Talkeetna Roadhouse was exceptional value for clean, well-supplied and well-organized accommodation. Trisha has carefully planned for all her guests’ needs. Laundry, transport from the train station, coffee and tea supplies were all readily provided for. Location was perfect.

Great location great staff. Our room is located upstairs bar downstairs which is perfect but my only complaint that I have to say about the hotel is at a certain time it gets really loud lots of music. You can hear everything which is not bad for me but I think if you’re looking for something that’s gonna be quiet and century located and This hotel, I’m gonna say no if you’re over the age of 50

Both suites at the guest house are equipped with a living room, including a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, free toiletries and extra towels which are provided in the bathroom. Two queen beds are located upstairs, on the second level, in the common bedroom.

If you are into cosy interaction with other guests, then it's not the place for you. For us it was by far the best stay in Alaska. First thing you notice, that Debbie has really sense of beauty. When 90% of places in Alaska look like junkyards, then it's the opposite there. The yard is well taken care and beautiful. The place itself is like new, well equipped, comfy beds, perfect bathroom. You get half of the house with plenty of space. It's away from main road, quiet. It was really nice to see that one family has done really everything for the place.

Thoughtful details, clear instructions, and sparkling clean facilities! Chase truly cares about maintaining a clean, quiet, and respectful space and it shows throughout the common spaces, shared bathrooms, and guest rooms. I would definitely come back and stay here for a long-term stay, as it is extremely comfortable. So happy to have stayed here!
