Vila Polar has an exceptional location and views of the mountains. We received a warm welcome; all our requests were met. The room was new and clean, and the breakfast with a wide selection of continental food. The rooftop bar is so homy with a fireplace and nice service, good selection of wines. We liked the place and will return!

Having a night on the mountain was always my dream. This Chata is easy to get to and the personel is kind and professional . The ambience is quiet and relaxing. After hiking you can get everithing you need to rest. Good food, even a shower in a room, nice interior. If you need to stay inside then there are lot of games even a guitar to play.

Cosy guesthouse in an excellent location 5 mins walk from the lake. Property is suitable for couples and families alike providing great value for the price. All the staff very courteous and friendly. Restaurant provides very good selection of dishes. I have stayed here 3rd time over they years and I do not even bother looking at other properties when I plan to stay in High Tatras due to location and services.

The room was spacious and equipped with all the essentials. The view from the balcony was amazing, offering a perfect place to relax. There was plenty of parking space available in front of the building. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very kind and attentive. Highly recommended!

Excellent location, nice area at walk around. The place is run by a family, they were super friendly and nice. Very good breakfast and dinner, always amazing desserts for dinner and all the meals were home made!

Perfect location, in the forest, with parking lot. 10 min walking from the cog train. Breakfast worthed it. It was varied, buffet type. Sonia was very attentive, strick to house rules. She takes good care of the place and she is kind with her guests. Sonia speaks ES. She recommended us many hiking routes to make in Tatras. Not expensive in high season. The accommodation worths the price.

The owner came to meet our train, even though it was delayed, and picked us up in a car at about 10 at night to take us to the property! Totally unexpected! I don't speak Slovak and he doesn't speak English, but we managed with German and he was very friendly and helpful. Lovely guy.
