The kindest, most caring, and generous hosts! Sparkling clean accommodations, and exceptionally delicious fresh farm to table food from the property. It was an absolutely stellar amazing experience, the best guest house in Breb! For first timers, there is only one restaurant in Breb that is remote and hard to get to, a tiny market, and no bank or ATM. As such, the property you stay at SO important. I extended my stay because this beautiful guest house was so incredibly wonderful, peaceful, warm and comfortable. My Highest recommendation!

Beautiful room appointed in traditional Romanian style in a picturesque village. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was a great location for exploring nearby churches and monasteries. The absolute best thing about this place is the wonderful hosts. They made us feel very welcome and we loved talking with them over meals. We learned a lot about Romania and the traditional way of life in Maramures. The food was excellent and were among the best meals we enjoyed in Romania

Very warm and hospitable host family. The room has all the modern comfort with traditional exterior. Shower was warm with good pressure. Mosquito nets were installed on all windows. The mattress was comfortable. This is an authentic Maramures experience where we got to stay on an operating farm instead of a curated touristy guesthouse. The family of 3 generations remained busy with their daily work. Due to my friend's food allergy, we did not dine with the family. However, Luca and his mother still showered us with tea and cakes. We appreciate the quiet and serene backyard too. Come and experience for yourself.

If you seek rest and contact with local people, Breb is the perfeft option, and within Breb, the family at Teodora’s might well be the most welcoming and endearing. Do not miss the opportunity to have breakfast and dinner and taste their excellent traditional cuisine.

The hosts were warm and friendly and managed to overcome our language barrier with grace and good humour. They offered coffee when we arrived and home made Horica as soon as we sat down. The room was spacious, clean and so comfortable - the best bed in over a month of different hotels/pensiones! The ensuite bathroom was spotless. And the handmade embroidered wall hangings were simply beautiful. We were offered dinner for 50RON pp and it was a delicious 3 course traditional meal. This pensione is located in the traditional Romanian village of Breb in the mountains of Maramures. There is only a very weak internet signal but you will not miss it. A wander around the village and you will be so glad you switched off.

The location is superb with a big garden and views towards Rodnei, Gutai and Ukrainian Carpathians mountanis. The house is beautifully decorated in a rustic style, clean and very spacious. The bedroom is cosy, the bed was very comfortable, really warm after a day of skiing. There is a common spacious with a kitchen equipped with everything that you need. But most of all, the owners were really nice and friendly. Thank you for the hospitality! We will definitely come back!
