This hotel was just newly renovated in the heart of Aveiro. The room was well. The shopping mall was really close to the hotel which is where we parked our car as the hotel provided parking.

This place looks and feels brand new...because it is. The building is only 2 years old ! We loved this place. We spent 40 days in Portugal, seven different apts, and this one was our favorite. The owner is a very special person, very helpful. Very tastefully decorated, full kitchen, very nice bathroom, excellent bed quality, with a large size ( between an American king/queen ) . The balcony is a really nice bonus. Location is exceptional. An elevator, so you have to deal with only 3 steps. A day trip from Porto does not do this town justice. Figure at least one night overnight, and an extra if you are going to the nearby beach. Plus, this city is mostly flat, not too many inclines to deal with !! Really, for what the owner charges, along with the quality, I doubt you will find a better deal in the entire city center. Tip....when you get a map from the tourist center, the streets in gray are the most interesting, and those are the streets you should focus on.

Laura & Rita have raised the bar far beyond the “smiley face” ratings for hospitality and cleanliness! The breakfast buffet was out of this World! We departed their home feeling like we were visiting our relatives. I gave the home a very good rating for location only because I was looking for something with a beachfront view but the value of this property and the fact that the location was so close for many sights to see deserves a higher rating.

We had a perfect stay at Abrigo das Andorinhas! The house is beautiful and its surroundings are amazing. We also really enjoyed the pool and the pool table. The hosts are wonderful people!

Location is perfect, and price is fair. I loved the electronic locks for entering. Making things easier. Comunication is perfect.

There is a pool and a lot of things for kids to play (trampoline, kicker, etc), it's a beautiful Quinta and the garden and house have been decorated with lot of care. They pay attention to sustainability. If you have a car (or use bolt), it's a 10min drive to the city center.
