Samba the host was outstanding. There was nothing he wouldn’t do to help me. This included pick up from airport, flight enquiries, arranging bus to Nouadhibou, SIM card and credit for SIM. The property was in a good location and met my expectations. Highly recommended by me.

Breakfast is there for a small price. Decent food joints around and most importantly Samba can manage and arrange anything you want (ie camel market, marche capitale and much more) Samba! But our experience was GREAT. Samba (the host) picked us up us from the airport, helped us buy a simcard and bus tickets to Nouadhibou. In general he was really helpful and welcoming and I'm sure our time in Nouakchott wouldn't have been as pleasant if it hadn't been for him. So if it's your first time in the country, definitely stay here!

He helped us with transport from the bus station, and back to the station the next day, and also helped us to exchange our money. When asked, he arranged a car with a knowledgeable driver, helped with luggage (I had a lot). The breakfast was good and nutritious, served promptly.

The Auberge has a cheery athmosphere with a changing mixture of travellers, expats and business folks. Sebastien is a great host and a good source of information. Le Triskell is one of these places where you can spend days hanging out without getting anything done. Food is very good and you can get laundry done. The outdoor area is the heart of Le Triskell. Just loved sitting there and enjoying chilled fresh lemonade.
