As a solo female traveler, staying here I felt so safe and at home. The owner and his wife are so utterly sweet and hardworking. The owner has a TukTuk and for a very fair price, he picked me up/dropped me off at the train station. On top of this, he offered different excursion options on his TukTuk for tea plantations, hikes, waterfalls, etc. The owner honestly went above and beyond, not only was he a wonderful host, but also a great driver and tour guide. What really touched my heart was when he took me to the Horton Plains National Park and ended up doing the WHOLE hike with me because he did not want me to do it alone and wanted to make sure I was safe. Their home is a very cute 100+-year-old house, with two rooms. The room was spotlessly clean and had comfy beds with warm blankets for the chilly nights. The price includes breakfast and if you have an early excursion/train time they pack you a full breakfast as well! They also offer lunch and dinner, which the wife cooks. It was honestly the best food I had on my trip to Sri Lanka especially the chicken curry and dhal curry.

Comfy bed and pillows, clean bathroom with hot water, generous breakfast. I have the whole house to myself during my stay as Ajith (the owner) was making an extension to the guesthouse which he kindly let me know beforehand. I didn't mind as I know I will be out the whole day to do my tour. He suggested places to eat, (Dushan's Kitchen is a must try when you visit Nuwara Eliya), took me on tea factory tours, to Ramboda falls, and Single Tree Hill. We took our time and not once did I feel rushed so I enjoyed every minute of it. The guesthouse is on a hill but just a 3 minutes walk to the main street through some stairs. Buses comes every 20 minutes and can take you to town in 15 minutes for 50 rupees. Ajith and his wife were so kind and made my stay so pleasant! Will definitely stay here again!

2 young female travellers and we had an absolutely fantastic stay here. Picked up free of charge by our host. Very friendly family. Lovely setting and clean spacious room. Cooler climate however we were provided with plenty of blankets so were not cold. Wonderful breakfast and dinner service available at small charge- delicious home cooked food. Had a tour by our host at a small price- very useful and knowledgeable about local area. Nice warm shower, wifi temperamental at times but still worked ok. Overall a wonderful stay would highly recommend.
