I had a fantastic stay at Zhibek Zholy Guest House in Almaty! The room was impeccably clean, and its convenient location near malls and restaurants made exploring the city a breeze. This place is perfect for everyone, who's looking to spend a few days outside the city center in the nature. The beautiful wooden house is located in a valley, from where you can start a few hikes or simply relax around the outside area to either do some yoga, play table tennis or read a book in a bean bag while listening to the sounds of the river close by. On top, Malika and Andrej can tell you a lot of interesting stories about the country, the people and the food. I even had the chance to eat the traditional dish Beshbarmak, which was soo delicious. The included breakfast was freshly prepared and they even asked at what time I'd like to have it.

We received such a warm welcome from host, Vladimir. He tried so much to make us feel us home and even cooked Indian food for us. Despite the language problems, he made us feel so warm. Plus, the rooms are huge and spacious. The rooms are do comfortable, clean and very well-maintained. We had a comfortable stay!

The room is spacious and well-equipped with everything you need. The location is excellent, close to many restaurants and markets. The hotel owner is extremely kind and hospitable, eagerly guiding us to must-visit places in Almaty with stunning views. (We absolutely loved Shymbulak!) He even gave us a ride to the cable car ticket entrance and was very attentive throughout our trip. 20 out of 10! :X We had a fantastic time in Kazakhstan! :D
