Relatively close to the station and the facilities were nice. My favorite part, however, was talking with the staff. Everyone, staff and other guests, was super nice and understanding making it my favorite part of my Japan trip so far. Especially how it was a great chance to meet lots of new people from all over Japan and the world and practice my Japanese with everyone working there. I would highly recommend!

The hostel is super lovely, the rooms have a lot of space and the kitchen is well equipped. The hostel is near from the train station (10 minutes to walk) and there are many supermarkets around. A big thank you to the awesome host mom who made the 4 days even more beautiful with her open friendly manner and her helpfulness.

Privacy curtains. Dorm is OK size, and there's a toilet within the dormitory. The guesthouse is located in front of the train tracks so if you are a light sleeper I suggest using ear plugs. AC sufficiently kept the room cool even with a full room of guys. In room mini-safe storage was a nice perk and was perfectly sized for my Nintendo Switch case (but definitely nothing much larger than that). Roommates were quiet.
