Location, car parking across the road AIR-CON and FRIDGE were a brilliant surprise given the heat. We requested an early check-in which was no issue for the host and she was happy to accommodate. The whole building and our room was absolutely spotless. The instructions for access and the lock box was clear and there was no issue. Very handy having all the instructions together in one message.

The hotel has private parking, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and check in was very smooth. We had three in our room; parents and one teenager. We were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served at your table by very professional staff. The room was amazing with a spectacular view of the perfectly groomed garden and Kilkenny Castle. The location made it easy to see all of the main sites within the townsite and is close to many great pubs and restaurants. A river walk is minutes away and there are plenty of quality shops. Highly recommend fish and chips at Matt the Millar's, just down the hill.

Nice and comfortable place where you feel at home. You have every sort of facilities (also makeup remover, cotton buds and so on). Robert was a great host and he helped me with everything I needed.

It was small, but clean and comfortable.  Margaret who checked us in, was very helpful and very nice. The room is above a pizza shop but we didn’t find it noisy. We tried the pizza and it was delicious!
