The hotel has private parking, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and check in was very smooth. We had three in our room; parents and one teenager. We were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served at your table by very professional staff. The room was amazing with a spectacular view of the perfectly groomed garden and Kilkenny Castle. The location made it easy to see all of the main sites within the townsite and is close to many great pubs and restaurants. A river walk is minutes away and there are plenty of quality shops. Highly recommend fish and chips at Matt the Millar's, just down the hill.

The bar has a traditional Irish welcome and a cosy log fires. It has an extensive range of drinks with a wine list and a cocktail menu. There is live music every Saturday with local bands, live sport on big screens, and a pool table and dart board.

The Waterfront Townhouse Accommodation is located above the Charlie's Boutique Cafe, which offers breakfast as well as food and drink throughout the day for an additional charge. Many restaurants and traditional Irish pubs can also be found in the surrounding area.
