Honestly, I can't rate this place enough!!!! I rarely leave reviews on these things and this stay deserves the most wonderful feedback!! It was the most fabulous stay in the most beautiful village in the Pelopennese countryside!! The hosts Demitri and Danai went out of their way to accommodate me and even Demitri picked me up halfway (which was 50 mins away through the countryside and windy mountains) as there were no buses running the day of my arrival! He also got up at 5.30 am and drove me to another town where I could get a bus back to Athens. On another day he picked me up from where I finished my hike and brought me back to the village!!! Demitri and his wife truly are wonderfully kind people and full of goodness. The bed was so comfy and the accommodation was in an old stone house with a fab chill-out area where I could do study in the shade. Water power was great and had a table, kettle, and fridge for all your needs. Also hearing the bird song in the mornings and just the people, in general, made my trip so special. There is such talent in the village as everyone does something creative and there are beautiful hikes around where you can guide yourself as the signs are really well organized. Stemnitsa and Kanto's guesthouse are places that I miss already and will surely return to in the future. I can't recommend this place enough and if I could give it 12 out of 10 I would!!!! The rooms were super clean and homely and the breakfast was amazing. It was in a great location on the Menalon Trail path (section 1). The staff were also very helpful. The views from the room were breathtaking.
