The couple running Guest House Babaka are lovely people. They were warm and made us feel welcome. Although we didn't have any languages in common, it was nothing that couldn't be solved with the help of Google Translate. After reading reviews about the food, we did ask for dinner. Dinner was an incredible spread of food with delicious homemade wine. All the food was delicious. The terrace was a comfortable place to hang out and there were two adorable dogs who liked to come by. The location was great. It's about a 5 minute walk to the center, which we knew. It's uphill going to town, but totally doable if you enjoy walking. Super quiet. We slept great. There really wasn't anything we didn't like. It was exactly what I was looking for, which was a simple homestay rather than a hotel. To that end, it feels like you're staying in an extension of someone's home, although the space we stayed in is very much separate from the house and pretty private. It's perfect if you're going in with those expectations, which we were. :)

Everything was perfect. We expecialy loved the terrace with the view on the city. The room and bathroom were clean, tidy and comfy. Breakfast was very delicious.

The host and her entire family was very warm and friendly. Our stay felt more like being at home. They did everything to make us comfortable and we had all the freedom to use the kitchen and facilities. They even offered us homemade wine and fruits for free. Such a lovely family. Zurabashvili is just gorgeous! Rooms are spacious and well appointed with little details such as provided shampoo and shower gel a beautiful touch. The view from the balcony is simply outstanding and the incredible breakfast that Ana provides makes it all the more charming. There's a swinging seat to drink in the view. Sitting on that balcony in the morning, sipping coffee while marvelling at the snow capped Caucasus mountains feels like heaven! And Ana is very welcoming and hospitable. We will definitely be back!
