We just finished a lovely one night stay at the White House and can highly recommend staying here for your visit of the Lake District. Everything was very good. Phil was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We had the disabled room downstairs and the bathroom facilities were excellent. The breakfasts were outstanding. The scrambled eggs with smoked salmon were exceptional.
