Brilliant property, spotless, beautiful and great location. The common rooms are welcoming and are stuffed with ample activities to do. My favorite part was the map area where I spent a lot of time planning with Tom on what we can do around the town and the nearby attractions. We booked the room on the top floor which had everything you could ask for. The kitchen is well stocked, in case you want to cook. Tom himself is a very gracious host, always available to help, went out of his way to drop us to the grey mare's tail walk, even gave us his jacket since we were so under prepared. Who does that?! I will be back again for sure. Pick this over any hotel/hostel and you won't regret it.

Great location, center of town. Super staff. Had to leave before breakfast our last day and they made us a lunch to take with us. Great food, very full breakfast and both dinners were very tasty. The lamb was exceptional. The folks in the bar and the sales people around town were super friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful time on a river walk and at the museum. I could live in sweet Moffat easily.

The room was beautiful and clean. The staff was extremely friendly. When I arrived too late to eat dinner in their restaurant, they called another restaurant for me and arranged a reservation. They also upgraded my room due to availability without me asking. They were wonderful.
